DAKIN Chuck E. Cheese Doll
Value: $30 - $100
An absolute treasure, the Dakin-branded Chuck doll is the very first plush the character ever received, being released sometime in 1978 and branded with a woven tag reading - “1978 Pizza Time Theatre Inc. 1978, R. Dakin & Co. Product of Korea.” and also having a yellow paper tag. However, finding a doll with this tag still attached is extremely rare.
This doll is made of a dated plush material and stuffed with both cotton and shredded clippings, utilizing felt to create the character’s eyes and hat, and gingham for the vest, and also came in two size variants, both 10” and 16” respectively.
It is unclear how long this item was available for, but the likely answer is about a year. It likely isn't as scarce as it seems to be - and the reason is that many of these dolls are likely forgotten in storage, meaning this will surface gradually over time.

DAKIN Mr. Munch Doll
Value: $30 - $100
Unbranded, but sharing enough characteristics to be associated with the Dakin Chuck E. Cheese plush, this doll is believed to pair along with it.
This doll only came in one size, around 12”, sporting the same felt features as Chuck. Something noteworthy about this item is that it is very flat, almost a character-shaped pillow similar to ones released by McDonalds and other companies. The release date is unknown, but it was likely released very close to or at the same time as Chuck.
The material and quality of this doll are varied. Some of them are a rich, dark purple - and others are a pale, almost lilac shade. The shape also varies, the latter usually being skinnier than the darker variant. These dolls tend to pop up a little more often than Chuck does. It likely isn't as scarce as it seems to be - and the reason is that many of these dolls are likely forgotten in storage, meaning they will surface gradually over time.
